This DFS Galleria is in the Cotai Strip, the Las Vegas-inspired entertainment zone in China's Macau gambling district. The 110,000-square-foot DFS space, created by rkd retail/iQ in The Shops at Four Seasons complex, offers an ultra-luxe ambiance that rivals anything found in its Western counterpart. The store's sophisticated materials palette includes stone, metallics, relief panels, fabrics and wood veneers. For ease of shopping, the sprawling space is subdivided into three major sections - luxury boutiques, cosmetics/fragrances and fine jewelry/watches/accessories - and also offers "palette cleansing" transition zones where patrons can enjoy showcased artwork. This project won an Innovation Award for store planning.
