established in 2000, eading group has grown to 300 stores operating in all 14 provinces of China with an annual turn over of 3 billion rmb.

eading group is an authorized reseller of apple products operating own retail in dozens of leading cities through out greater china.

as part of the operating agreement with apple, the authorized reseller status has significant restrictions on what is acceptable for the retail environment.  these restrictions across all authorized resellers make for dreary and dull retail and not a good match for the cutting edge products apple represents.

rkd retail/iQ proposed to push the boundaries of the apple criteria by introducing  a small and focused kit of parts to enhance the retail environment in the form unique mid-floor fixturing composed of stacked sculpted disks of organic shapes, unique graphic graffiti language of pattern & color and a palette of accent colors that would vary from location to location.

rkd retail/iQ was responsible for the interior and graphic concept and construction documentation and is currently rolling the program out to selected locations throughout china.
